Who we are

Tampa EDS LLC (“Tampa EDS”) sells refurbished and custom gaming computers from Tampa, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through tampaeds.com and what we do with it. What we collect

• Messages and build requests. If you send a message or custom build request through our chat assistant, we receive the details you submit, such as your name, email, phone number, budget, how you plan to use the PC, and your message. When you only ask the assistant questions, your questions are answered in your browser and are not sent to us unless you choose to send a request.
• Order details. When you check out, we receive your name, email, phone number, delivery method and, if you choose shipping, your delivery address.
• Payment. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure payment page. Tampa EDS never sees or stores your full card number.
• Notify-me requests. If you ask to be told when new builds are listed, we keep your email address for that purpose.

How we use it

• To answer your questions and send quotes for custom builds.
• To process and deliver your order, arrange pickup, and send order updates.
• To provide returns and warranty support.
• To keep records we need for our business, accounting, and legal obligations.
• To keep our site and payments safe and prevent fraud.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services we use to run the store:

• Stripe processes payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Google and Meta provide the advertising and analytics tools described above.
• Cloudflare hosts our site and may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver and protect it.
• A form service (Web3Forms) delivers the requests you send through our chat assistant, order requests placed at checkout, and our notify-me sign-up, to our inbox. If it is not available, we ask you to email us instead.
• Shipping carriers receive your name and delivery address when we ship your order.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and your browser

To keep your cart from disappearing, the site saves your cart, and which PC you are paying for, in your own browser's local storage on your device. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings, and the cart is cleared after a completed payment. When we run advertising, we also use the advertising and analytics tools described below.

Advertising and analytics

When we run ads, we may use tools from Google (such as Google Ads and Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) on this site. These tools use cookies and similar technologies. They help us measure how our ads and website perform and show our ads to people who have visited our site.

These tools receive information such as the pages you view, your IP address, your device and browser, and when you view a PC, add one to your cart, start checkout, send us a request, or buy. For purchases they receive the order total and the name of the PC. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, or payment details to these tools.

Under some state privacy laws, sharing information with advertising tools like these may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your privacy choices

You can turn off ad tracking in this browser at any time using the button below. We also treat the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to turn it off. You can also manage ads you see from Google at adssettings.google.com and from Meta in your Facebook ad preferences.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as we need them for our business, tax, return, and warranty purposes. We keep other messages only as long as they are useful for helping you.

Your choices

You can email sales@tampaeds.com to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will help, unless we need to keep certain records, such as order records, by law.

Children

Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
